With no assembly required, this heavy-duty plastic window-mounted bird feeder offers a unique viewing experience for bird lovers everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much seed I could fit into the trays. This is a relatively small feeder to be able to hold so much seed. Nothing more aggravating than trying to keep a feeder clean so the seed stays dry and the cardinals will want to keep coming back only to find it is nearly impossible to reach every inch of it because of its design. Feeders with sharp edges and squared corners are more difficult to clean than those with rounded edges.
What makes this feeder even easier to clean is the fact it is made of heavy-duty plastic which is not only dust proof but dirt proof too. Coupling that with the open face of the feeder, cleaning it is a dream. There are no latches and no lids in the way of the trays. Nothing complicated to get to all sections of the feeder.

Love the design of the platform feeders. And although this one is not a true platform feeder, with the seed presented in an uncovered tray it makes it easier.
No unlocking. No tricky mechanisms to undo to refill. Nothing more annoying than having to use tools to unlatch the seed compartments with some of the feeders I’ve reviewed. With this feeder there is none of that. It’s not necessary. Just simply fill the trays with seed and be done.
Because it has a nice capacity I was happy to find that I didn’t need to refill the feeder as often as some of my other ones. It was a pleasant surprise. Also, the seed is kept dry with the drainage holes in the bottom so there is less waste, meaning less time refilling.

This is a hard thing to rank because there is nothing to assemble. That’s right. Not a single thing is necessary to put together in order to place this feeder. For me that is perfection. I hate taking lots of time assembling my bird feeders. The easier the better for me personally. I’m a no muss, no fuss kind of person.
And that’s what I got with this feeder.

You’ll be happy to know that that is no assembly required. This feeder is a single piece of treated plastic that won’t yellow, even in direct sunlight. I loved knowing it wouldn’t yellow over time and loved that it was built for all weather use.
I didn’t even need to attach the suction cups. The suction cups already came attached to the back of the feeder to allow for easy mounting to any glass surface. The plastic construction of the feeder is sturdy. This one piece feeder is ready to go as soon as you take it out of the box. I absolutely love when feeders need no assembly. It makes my life so much easier to place a new feeder when it’s this easy.

Will This Damage My Window?
No, not at all. The suction cups are rubber and have no metal or anything else that would scratch the glass. I’ve had mine up for over a year with no signs of damage to my window.
Is There Anything Special I Need to do to Mount it to the Glass?
It comes with four heavy duty suction cups. There is no other mounting hardware needed. Make sure the glass is clean before securing the suction cups to the surface but that’s it. I’ve never had a problem with it coming unfastened from the glass.
Will This Turn Yellow In The Sun?
I haven’t had mine very long but the manufacturer says it has a special coating that won’t let it fade or yellow in sunlight.

For those bird lovers who want to enjoy watching their cardinals feed on a feeder but either don’t have a backyard or simply want a different type of birdwatching experience, this feeder is for them. I have tons of feeders in my backyard, but having one attached to my window brought the cardinals even closer so I could get a truly wonderful experience.
It easily fits on the window with the suction cups provided and can hold an impressive four cups of feed. I could put out two different types of seed for the cardinals to get them to keep coming back for more. The drainage of this feeder is outstanding with holes throughout the bottom of both seed receptacles keeping the seed dry and fresh for the birds. We all know that when seed gets wet and starts to smell, birds will avoid it. That won’t happen with this feeder.
As for cleaning, this feeder is very easy to clean thoroughly. The open-faced design allows for easy access to all areas of the feed containers to remove all dirt and old seed.
The plastic is coated so it will not yellow in direct sunlight meaning it will remain ‘invisible’ and clear to offer unparalleled viewing options while your cardinals feed.
